Re-Newed of The Carolinas:  We have faced challenges like many other artists. Sickness, members relocating, etc. However, we trust the God who we sing about and He always prevails.

Black Vibes:  Can you introduce the members of Re-Newed of The Carolinas and explain the role each one plays in the group?
Re-Newed of The Carolinas:  Sedritz Strickland, manager, high tenor, guitarist, songwriter, producer Olympus Richardson, assist. manager, vocalist Johnny Parker, vocalist Bishop Bobby Ingram, lead vocalist Tommy Joyner, bass guitarist Davion Wimbush, percussion Glenn Chavis, keyboards.

Black Vibes:  How would you describe the unique sound and style of your music?
Re-Newed of The Carolinas:  We bring two styles of gospel music to create our own sound. From the application of sweet falsetto highs to the smooth soulful melodic lower tones, audiences are intrigued by the blend. We flow with traditional gospel with the ministry of scriptural hymns, the energy of gospel drives, and the groove of southern soul.

Black Vibes:  Where have you all performed previously, and where is your next performance?
Re-Newed of The Carolinas:  Not only have we been to New Jersey, Virginia, Maryland, and South Carolina; we have traveled as far away as California and Arizona over the years. Most recently, we ministered at Touch of Joy Extravaganza in Durham, NC.  We have upcoming bookings in Raleigh, New Bern, and other areas. (ReNewed of the Carolinas will also participate in upcoming Right Touch events.

MeShaun Holmes:  The experience on this project was amazing! To reconnect with my fellow castmates I've worked with before and get to meet new people the set didn't feel like work, it was great.

Black Vibes:  Can you tell us more about the character you portray in "Kill 'Em With A Smile"?MeShaun Holmes:  So my Character is Gina, she is the best friend of the main character Jessica who is a ride or die friend with a little sass to her. 
Black Vibes:  What's next for MeShaun Holmes?MeShaun Holmes:  I am currently working on two projects and in the process of working on my web series based on my life story.

Black Vibes:  What inspired you to pursue a career in acting?MeShaun Holmes:  I always was in love with acting and theatre since I was a little girl, and I knew I always wanted to be on TV. I grew up watching soap operas with my great grandmother and was captivated by the actresses I saw on screen.
Black Vibes:  Could you share some of the projects you've been involved in as an actress?MeShaun Holmes:  My first role was in Tiffany the Doll, I have been in Sneaky Links, Twerk Reggae Nights, The Games We Play, Have you seen my man and many more
Black Vibes:  What has been your favorite role to play so far, and why?MeShaun Holmes:  My favorite Role that I played was definitely Gina in "Kill Em with A Smile". I just love how loyal she is and her personality overall and she a little tough lol

Black Vibes:  What would be your dream role?MeShaun Holmes:  My dream role I want to play is a role of a character in power, someone that has many facets to them, who has you invested in the story they are passionate about.

Black Vibes:  How was the experience of working with the renowned director and film producer Felicia Rivers of Geechee One Films?MeShaun Holmes:  It's an absolute honor and privilege to work with Felicia. She has helped me grow as an actress and gave me my first shot to do what I love and I am grateful for that every role I'm casted for.

         Introducing the multifaceted Jasmine Pilgrim! Hailing from Spartanburg, SC, Jasmine began her illustrious career as a model, excelling in print, commercial, runway, and music videos. Her passion for the arts led her to Charleston, SC, where she pursued a bachelor's degree in Psychology. In her final year of college, Jasmine's decision to explore acting transformed her career trajectory. Today, she shines in her latest role as Jessica in the highly anticipated drama/thriller "Kill 'Em With A Smile," now available on TUBI and The Peacock. This gripping film, written and produced by the talented Felicia Rivers of Geechee One Films, was released on July 30th, and promises to keep audiences on the edge of their seats.          Post-college, Jasmine's acting career blossomed with her first day player role in the short film "A Dinner for 7; Serving Scott Free," followed by a lead role in "Through A Mother's Eyes." Her undeniable talent continued to shine in short films such as "The Prayer" and "Envee." Jasmine's breakthrough in feature films came with "Sneaky Links," (another incredible Geechee One Films release) now streaming on Amazon Prime, Peacock, and Tubi. She also stars in other Geechee One Films projects, including "Cherry Bomb." In 2024, Jasmine will grace the screen in "Heartless Outlaws," "How to Catch A Baller," and "He Loves Me Not," sharing the spotlight with acclaimed actors such as Denzell Dandridge, Crystal The Doll Hughes, and acclaimed rap recording artist Diamond from Crime Mob.
