WALE CROWNS FUTURE A TOP 10 RAPPER OF ALL TIME: '[HE] MEANS SO MUCH TO HIP HOP'

Wale has given Future his flowers, crowning the trap titan a top 10 rapper of all time.
The D.C. rapper appears to be a fan of Hendrix's latest effort Mixtape Pluto as he took to X (formerly Twitter) on Monday (September 30) to heap high praise on the Freebandz boss.
"Future means so much to Hiphop. A top ten. Im not debating that one," he wrote.
Wale's opinion appeared to ruffle feathers among those who weren't as enthusiastic about Future's ranking among rap's all-time greats, but he refused to back down.
In a second post, he added: "I got some folks fired up today ... I seen.. excuse me for havin a diverse palette ... art is subjective. Im listening to The Beach Boys right now and then Devin the dude. Yall like what yall liked...see yall on the road [blue heart emoji, moon emoji]."
There's at least one other Hip Hop figure that agrees with Wale.
Back in April, Charlamagne Tha God declared Future the most influential rapper of the last decade.
Speaking on his Brilliant Idiots podcast with Andrew Schulz, the radio personality argued that the "March Madness" hitmaker belongs in the same conversation as the so-called "Big Three" of Drake, Kendrick Lamar and J. Cole.
"They talking about a Big Three but really there's a Fantastic Four. If you really wanna get a little spicy, Future could be in the Big Three," he said.

He then pointed to Future's influence, saying: "For better or worse, I can find a million Future clones all around the world. I don't think there's any rapper that's influenced culture and music more than Future over the last decade. I think Future has influence. People wanna be Future, people wanna sound like Future."
Charlamagne also cited some of the rapper's more recent achievements, including simultaneously topping the Billboard 200 and Billboard Hot 100 with his joint album with Metro Boomin, We Don't Trust You, and Kendrick-assisted hit "Like That."
"I would have Drake, Future, Kendrick, personally," he added, nudging J. Cole out of the top three. "Statistically, if you're talking about numbers and all of that, Future's over Cole."
Charlamagne did, however, acknowledge that Cole is a stronger lyricist than Pluto.Future has also previously called himself a top five rapper of all time.
In a chest-thumping social media post back in 2018, he shared a picture of himself in a fur coat along with the caption: "Top 5 dead or alive and I'm #1."
