TI says that he was at a barbecue at Usher's house when he heard Kendrick Lamar's "Not Like Us" for the first time. He detailed the moment the party caught wind of the diss track during a recent interview on Big Boy's Neighborhood.

T.I. began by revealing that he's been hearing the song played in the clubs. "I was at Usher's house. We were having a little get-together. A barbecue or what have you," he began. He added: "Any social circle you gather during that time period, that's gonna be the conversation. So everybody was, just as you said, listening to the records as they dropped." He then explained that as they were listening to "Family Matters," T.I. noticed that "Not Like Us" dropped. "Those are moments that hip-hop created," he said. From there, he revealed that they all went to the club and both diss tracks played. "It all stimulates the attention of this thing that we do, what we know and love so much. So, I think that any time you got two giants in a field that are worthy opponents, you know that can match wits with one another, I feel like it's gon' be good for the game," he said.

While he does feel its good for the game of hip-hop, he did, however, add: "I will say this, they done kinda f**ked it up for some other people who were planning to drop, you know what I'm saying, in this period. Kai Cenat called out IGN in a post on Twitter, Saturday, after the outlet covered his Elden Ring marathon stream by bringing up his arrest for inciting a riot in New York City in 2023. He remarked, "F*ck IGN," in the post, which prompted an apology from the outlet. In the original tweet, IGN wrote: "Kai Cenat, the popular Twitch streamer who once incited a riot in New York with a giveaway event, has officially finished Elden Ring after a more than 160 hour marathon that at one point included throwing his controller out the window.."

They eventually deleted the post and published the following statement: "We messed up that Kai Cenat story by couching it in something that has nothing to do with Elden Ring or his playthrough of it. We apologize to @KaiCenat, who we're big fans of, and his followers, and we promise to do better in the future."

Vince Staples has announced that he will be releasing his final album with Def Jam, later this week. He shared that the project's title is Dark Times while reflecting on his experiences with the label in a post on Instagram, on Sunday.

"Eleven years ago, a young, uncertain version of myself was given an opportunity with Def Jam Recordings," he began. "I released my first project under their banner, Shyne Coldchain Vol 2, a year later. I was unsure of what to expect from the world of music but deeply aware of what I needed: a change in my surroundings and a clear understanding of self. Ten years and seven projects later, I've found that clarity. Now, I share with you my final Def Jam release, Dark Times." He concluded by revealing the project will be dropping on Friday, May 24th.

Payroll Giovanni may be one of Detroit, Michigan's unsung heroes. The man has been releasing music for just over a decade and has delivered plenty of projects of quality. For those unaware, he has also been in the studio with some of hip-hop's best and brightest. From Jeezy, BabyTron, Big Sean to Tee Grizzley, he has most likely worked with your favorite rapper. Over the weekend, Payroll Giovanni decided to drop by for a quick moment to leave off a new EP Have Money Have Heart.

This project follows up on his September 2023 collaborative record Kid & Pay. Payroll and HBK worked together for a short 12-song, 30-minute endeavor. That was one of two LPs, with the stacked Ghost Mode coming before it. Leading up to Have Money Have Heart, Payroll only dropped one single, that being the opening cut Rose Anniversary.

As for the apology, Diddy claims he was at "rock bottom" during the incident and has since sought out professional help in the way of therapy and rehab. "It's so difficult to reflect on the darkest times in your life, but sometimes you got to do that," he says. "I was f*cked up - I hit rock bottom - but I make no excuses. My behavior on that video is inexcusable. I take full responsibility for my actions in that video. I was disgusted then when I did it. I'm disgusted now. I went and I sought out professional help, I got into going to therapy, going to rehab. I had to ask God for his mercy and grace. I'm so sorry. But I'm committed to be a better man each and every day. I'm not asking for forgiveness. I'm truly sorry."
